This smoothie tastes just like a Chocolate Milkshake, no lie. It’s so creamy and sweet. Yum.
- 1/2 ripe banana
- 2 tbsp whey protein powder (I use the Whole Foods 365 brand)
- 1 tbsp milled flax seed or flax seed oil
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 pitted dates
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 ice cube
In a blender, combine banana, whey protein powder, flax seed, almond butter, cocoa powder, dates, almond milk and ice. Blend until smooth.
Makes 2 servings.
