Celebrating the Summer Season with Teens!
Local, seasonal fruits and vegetables provide the most nutrition and taste. They are delicious to eat raw or in savory and sweet dishes such as fruit smoothies, blueberry muffins, kale salad, tomato & pesto panini, zucchini & corn tacos, strawberry shortcake among many others. Students will learn how to create a variety of dishes using summer produce!
This class is designed specifically for teen chefs looking to enhance their culinary skills and create their own recipes using seasonal ingredients. Each day, students will work in teams and learn a progression of cooking skills leading up to a finale cooking event on Friday, when each team will create, showcase and be judged on their own original recipe. Cost: $325 per child (sibling discount $300 for each additional child)
