These waffles have such a wonderful, sweet flavor from the oat and almond flour to the cinnamon and maple syrup, YUM!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup oat flour
- ½ cup almond flour
- ½ cup quick cooking oats
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp salt
- 1½ cups organic milk
- 2 large organic eggs
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
- 8 tblsp organic unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat waffle iron. In a medium bowl, whisk oat flour, almond flour, oats, baking powder and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk milk, eggs, maple syrup, melted butter and vanilla. Pour wet ingredients over flour mixture and mix until combined.
- Using a small ladle, pour batter in center of each section. Cook waffles for 3-5 minutes or until lightly brown. Serve with fresh fruit.
Makes 10 waffles.
