Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

This is a protein packed, nutritious, kid friendly smoothie! Of course, if you or your child has a nut allergy, you’ll have to substitute the peanut butter for sunflower seed butter and the almond milk for either dairy or coconut milk. In any case, it will be just as delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 ripe banana, frozen
  • ¼ cup creamy organic peanut butter
  • 1 tsp milled flax seed
  • 1 tsp honey

 Directions:

  1. Pour almond milk in blender. Peel and cut frozen banana in half and place in blender.
  2. Add peanut butter, flax seed and honey.
  3. Puree until smooth.

Makes 2 servings.
