I love berries, especially in a smoothie, reminds me of the summer!
- 1/2 ripe banana
- 2 tbsp whey protein powder (I use the Whole Foods 365 brand)
- 1 tbsp milled flax seed or flax seed oil
- 1/2 cup frozen Organic Berry Blend (I use the Whole Foods 365 brand with strawberries, blueberries and blackberries)
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
In a blender, combine banana, whey protein powder, flax seed, mixed berries and almond milk. Blend until smooth.
Makes 1 serving.
