One more week

Food Jules will be open for business one week from today, Friday 6/24 at the Monroe Farmers Market, specializing in Homemade Organic Jams, Hot Fudge Sauce, Granola and Baked Goodies.

Ahhh, I can’t believe it. The day is almost here and I am a nervous wreck. I am excited about this opportunity and looking forward to the summer, however, I have to admit, that if given the chance, I would much rather be home taking care of my Julian. In a heartbeat! I hope that the business and blog keeps his spirit alive and helps others who are going through a difficult time. I hope it inspires people to move forward, live life and love.

  1. Liz, good luck to you! I know that Foodjules will be a great success! Your blog is very inspiring and a reminder to all of us how blessed we are and to indeed live life and love. I owe you a get together email too!

  2. What a positive entry about keeping Julian’s spirit alive. I liked that very much.

I was thinking of you when the kids and I were making strawberry freezer jam from berries that we picked with Nonno and Nonna. I like it because of the fresh taste, as you don’t cook the strawberries, only heat the pectin. It would not be good for selling, but it is easy and fun to make with the kids. And of course, tastes good.

  3. Liz,
I can’t wait for the farmer’s market! You’ve worked so hard and are such an inspiration to so many! It’s going to be great. Julian must be watching over you and feeling so proud of his mommy. You can count on me for mixed berry jam. Talk about delicious!
    Love,
    Lisa
