Chocolate Lava Cake!!!

During this sad, unprecedented and unpredictable time in our world, the one thing I can turn to for pure happiness is…. CHOCOLATE and this CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE makes me sing with pure joy.

Besides being an absolutely gorgeous cake, the flavors are divine and you won’t believe how simple it is to make with just a few ingredients. Plus, nothing beats getting my own little cake that I don’t have to share with anyone. I highly recommend making it TONIGHT as a special treat. You will be singing too.

Lots of love to you all. Stay safe.

Lemon Zucchini Bread

This bread reminds me of good old summer! It’s perfectly sweet, has a great lemon flavor and so very moist. Plus, it’s GLUTEN FREE and VEGAN! You can quickly whip up a batch of this bread in 10 minutes – Lemon Zucchini Chia Seed Bread.

A couple quick tips:

  • this version is gluten free and vegan
  • if you prefer to swap out the flours, you can use all-purpose flour but reduce from 2 total cups to 1 3/4 cups
  • make sure you squeeze the shredded zucchini as much as possible
  • wait until the bread is cool before drizzling on the glaze
  • and….. make sure you have yourself a slice before the family sees it!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy.

Spring 2020 Cooking Camp

Did you know that Apple Pie, Clam Chowder, Texas BBQ and Boston Cream Pie are some of America’s favorite dishes?

American cuisine is based around regional dishes which are inspired by local ingredients, culture and ethnicity. For example, in New England, many popular dishes are based on fishing and seasonal fruits and vegetables such as pumpkins, apples and berries. Travel across America with Miss Liz, owner of Food Jules, to learn how to create these famous regional dishes.

Students work in teams to prep, cook and bake while exploring the food and culture of a different USA region each week. We will bake apple pie, cheesecake, boston cream pie cupcakes and we’ll cook clam chowder, chicken pot pie, chili and much more!

ALL OF OUR CLASSES ARE NUT FREE and ALLERGY FRIENDLY.

Registration and payment is due by Feb 14th. Use this link to sign up today! Email liz@foodjules.com with questions!
