Good Morning. Yesterday was another successful day of our Dr Oz 10 day cleanse. I was still a bit hungry in the evening right before bed, but I just drank more water and went off to sleepy town.
Here is a quick run down of our meals yesterday.
In the morning, I started again with a warm cup of water with fresh lemon. Great way to start the day! Then for breakfast, I made myself a Cherry Banana Smoothie, yum!!! I love cherries and now that I discovered you can buy frozen Organic Cherries at Whole Foods, I get them all the time. Benny loves them too. They are great for smoothies.
Again, I drank a cup of Decaf Green Tea with lemon in between breakfast and lunch and had a handful of raw organic almonds.
For lunch, I had some leftover Chickpea and Swiss Chard Stew over Quinoa. It was very satisfying and after a small bowl, I felt full. Then, Benny and I went off to run some errands. When we returned home, I had an Organic Honeycrisp Apple again, yum. These apples from Whole Foods are the bomb! Then, right before dinner, my tummy started rumbling so I had a brown rice cake with a little Almond Butter. That curbed my hunger until dinner and it was yummy.
For dinner, I made a delicious Indian feast, Chickpea and Cauliflower Coconut Curry and served it over a little bit of Brown Wild Rice. It was perfect and so flavorful. I think we’re going to eat that again tonight for dinner!
Again, I tried to keep up on drinking lots of water. It’s best to carry around a water bottle everywhere you go, that way you are guaranteed to drink it.
